I am not a native of Lubbock, nor even of Texas. I was born and raised in Greenfield, Indiana, spent a couple of years living in Glasgow, Scotland, and then landed in Lubbock where I've been ever since. Have a look!

I was pretty cool to see, although disappointing to the kids who wanted to play on it! There was a way on to the connected equipment, since one side was dry, and a couple of families were on it anyway! I really wanted to try it, but I was wearing my work clothes and not stuff I didn't mind getting muddy. So I skipped this time.
