A neon "Open" sign is nothing exciting in and of itself, but I think it is unusual to see one on a library!
I am not a native of Lubbock, nor even of Texas. I was born and raised in Greenfield, Indiana, spent a couple of years living in Glasgow, Scotland, and then landed in Lubbock where I've been ever since. Have a look!

I agree it's unusual for a library. What kind of library is it?
On a library? wow, that's kind of funny :)
Greetings from Madrid
My wife and I visited our local library just last night. Not to check out a book. Instead our condo association held it's annual meeting. Bravo for the library being open.
Library? You're right this is surprising. I was thinking restaurant or convenience store.
It has made me laugh a few times, so on Saturday when we were there I decided it was time for a picture. It is just a regular public library, or rather a branch of the library. The main one is downtown, and there are three or four others scattered around town, and this is one of them. It's really nice actually, to have the libraries situated in neighbourhoods!
