This is a shop I'll post some closer pics of in the next couple of days, but I wanted to start off with the big picture.
I am not a native of Lubbock, nor even of Texas. I was born and raised in Greenfield, Indiana, spent a couple of years living in Glasgow, Scotland, and then landed in Lubbock where I've been ever since. Have a look!

From your picture I sense of quitness and emptiness around the stores, and I don't see cars or people walked around it too.
Maybe they mean water ski. However, a 4 hour drive is not a lot for a Texan.
Blowfish, yep, all these shops were pretty well empty! Of course, this one is closed right now.
Anonymous, No, they sell snow skiing equipment. We don't have any water, either! And people who shop here do, indeed, feel the drive is worth it.
