I am not a native of Lubbock, nor even of Texas. I was born and raised in Greenfield, Indiana, spent a couple of years living in Glasgow, Scotland, and then landed in Lubbock where I've been ever since. Have a look!

Windmills


The person driving would not stop to let me take a photo of the windmills, hence the quality of the shot! These are not actually in Lubbock; I went out of town overnight and these were on the way.

Those are ginormous close up they are really breath taking. I wish I really understood how they worked. I want one.

I would really like to go right up there and see them, but that will have to wait for a free weekend! I want one as well, a nearby school has installed one and they are paying next to nothing for electricity now... and being a school that means it will pay for itself very quickly. I think it would take a bit longer for a residence, but totally worth it in the long run!
